"Nice look, but a bit frustrating to use"
The site does look really nice, and I liked the overall style of everything. That said, it felt slow for me, and the menus were a little confusing. It took longer than it should have to find the sizes, and checkout kept jumping around when I was on my phone, which got annoying fast. Still, the products themselves looked good, so I’d probably give it another try if the site experience gets smoother

"Way faster than I expected"
I ordered it on Monday and it showed up by Wednesday, which surprised me. I’m always a little nervous with online orders because you never know if the delivery estimate is just talk, but this was actually legit. Happy with how quick it was.

"Actually worth the price, surprisingly"
Yeah, it’s definitely not cheap, because apparently my wallet needed a little challenge. But the quality is solid enough that I can’t really complain. It feels like one of those rare times where the price actually makes sense.

I ordered from Johnstons of Elgin and felt relieved once it arrived, because the quality is genuinely lovely. The fabric is soft and comfortable, but still feels properly made rather than thin or flimsy.
You can tell care has gone into it. Even the little details are neat, and after trying it, I got the sense it’s something that should hold up well over time.
It’s definitely not the cheapest option, so I was a bit unsure at first, but now I’m happy I went for it. Based on this experience, I’d buy from them again.

"Colors were really, really close to the photos"

"Still impressed after a year"
I bought a scarf from Johnstons of Elgin over a year ago, i’m still so pleased with it. I was half expecting it to start looking tired after all the wear it’s had, especially on some miserable weather days, but no—somehow it still looks great. It hasn’t gone thin, stretched out, or lost its shape, which is such a relief. It just feels like one of those pieces you’ll keep reaching for year after year. Really happy I got it.

I really loved how soft the cashmere felt, it has that cozy, luxurious feel I personally look for in something I’d want to wear a lot. The only downside for me is the price. It feels worth it quality-wise, but I do wish it were a bit more affordable...

"Good products, but support was a headache"
The stuff itself is actually really nice, so I don’t want to sound too negative, but the customer service was kind of frustrating. I had to follow up twice about my order, and while they were polite when they finally replied, it didn’t really solve much. For the price, I expected a smoother experience. I’d probably still buy again because I liked the product, but the support was annoying.

"Nice packaging, just a tiny box issue"
The order showed up in a cute little box with tissue paper, so that was nice. The outer box did have a small dent, which I’m totally not overthinking or anything, but the actual item was perfectly fine. Overall, I’m happy with it.
